Marketing for car detailers, with numbers you can check.
Nobody plans a detail weeks ahead. They want the ceramic coat done before the long weekend, they search on their phone, and they ring one of the three businesses on the map. We have put a mobile detailer into those three, and run a ceramic coating campaign where $800 of ads booked $12,100 of work.
Syvex does local SEO, Google Ads and websites for car detailers, mobile or shop based. A Class Mobile Detailing in Sydney went from 14th on Google Maps to the top three in 90 days. A Brisbane ceramic coating campaign turned $800 of ad spend into 11 enquiries and $12,100 of booked work between 22 June and 22 July 2026. Local SEO is $1,000 a month. Google Ads management is from $1,000 a month plus a one-off $1,000 set-up fee.
A mobile detailer, 14th to the top three.
A Class Mobile Detailing was ranking outside the top ten across most of their service area. Ninety days of Google Business Profile and listings work later, they were in the top three. Drag the slider: red is where nobody saw them, green is top three.
BeforeAfter
$800 in. $12,100 of ceramic coating booked.
Brisbane ceramic coating campaign, 22 June to 22 July 2026. $12,100 of work, counted at the minimum job value.
This is one campaign, not a promise. It worked for a plain reason: the ads sold ceramic coating, and one ceramic job pays for a lot of clicks.
The same $800 spent advertising a basic wash would have gone nowhere. What you advertise matters more than how much you spend.
Four things we would do in your first month.
Advertise the big jobs
Ads for a basic wash rarely pay for the click. Ceramic coating and paint correction do, because one booking covers a lot of ad spend. Lead with those and let the washes follow.
A before and after, every week
Detailing sells on photos. A new before and after on your Google profile each week shows the work and keeps the profile alive.
Name every service
Paint correction, ceramic coating, interior detail, cut and polish. Each one on the profile and each with its own page, because each is a different search.
Mobile? List the suburbs you drive to
With no shopfront to rank around, the service area does the work. List the suburbs you really cover, not the whole city.
It depends on the budget. Here is the straight version.
Fix the profile first
The GBP Tune-Up is $500 once. Categories, services, photos, a new post and a map of where you rank.
Local SEO
$1,000 a month to climb the map and stay there. The top three takes 90 days at a minimum.
Add Google Ads
Calls this week while the map builds. At least $5,000 of that is ad spend, and month one adds the $1,000 set-up fee.

Do Google Ads work for detailers?
They did on the one campaign we can show you: $800 of ad spend, 11 enquiries, all 11 booked, $12,100 of work, from 22 June to 22 July 2026. That is one campaign and not a promise. It worked because the ads sold ceramic coating, where one job is worth a lot. Ads need at least $5,000 a month in ad spend before we start.
I am mobile with no shop. Can I still rank on the map?
Yes. Google lets you hide your address and list the suburbs you service instead. A Class Mobile Detailing is mobile, and that is the business that went from 14th to the top three.
How long until I am in the top three on the map?
Ninety days at a minimum. Some suburbs and some trades take longer, depending on how many reviews and how much history the businesses above you have. You get a map of where you rank at the start and again at day 90, so you can see the movement for yourself.
Do I need a website to rank on the map?
No. A Google Business Profile can rank without one. A website helps, and we will tell you straight if yours is holding the profile back.
What does it cost?
The GBP Tune-Up is $500 once. Local SEO is $1,000 a month. Google Ads management is from $1,000 a month plus a one-off $1,000 set-up fee, with the ad spend paid to Google directly. A website is a fixed $2,500, then $300 a month for hosting and upkeep, which is waived in a bundle.
Am I locked in?
No. It is month to month and you can stop any month. The profile, the pages and the listings we built stay yours.
Who actually does the work?
Justin does the SEO and websites, and Jake runs the ads. They are the two owners, and they are who you talk to. There is no account manager in between.
